Sweet Dwelling
Sweet Dwelling
Sweet dwelling of my parents dear
Kind neighborhood of my tender year
When the home is comfortable and neat
It feels secure and pleasant like a treat
Those who love and keep up their home
Also arrange their life and situation
Years go by and our feelings soar
Hoping to see things the same as before
Our school was perched on the hill
Daydreaming was our best skill
It made us feel the sadness of times to come
We wished we would not see, but overcome
We move forward into an unknown world
Full of hope, even if things swirled
Thinking of our late elders we revered
And our dear friends who disappeared
